In partnership with our Center and the Institute for Minority Rights of Eurac Research, the UN Special Rapporteur on minority issues Nicolas Levrat has launched the 2026th edition of the Student Minority Projects Challenge.
SR Levrat observed that “The situation of minority communities remains urgent, and innovative solutions are needed to improve their circumstances.” He invited individual students or student groups to submit to the call with original ideas on how to improve the fate of minority communities.
The deadline is 15 June 2026 and the winning group will be invited to Geneva at the end of November to participate in the UN Forum on Minority Issues and present their idea on a global stage.
